Responsible Ministry

Liturgy Ministries 
Liturgy Committee -This group of people, in conjunction with the parish priest and deacon, coordinates the Ministries needed to plan and enhance our Lord's Day Masses and other special celebrations throughout the year.

Mass Coordinators -information to follow 

Minister of the Word -Lectors assume the important responsibility of proclaiming the word of God. Schedules are made up for those wishing to help with the readings at weekend masses or weekday masses. .

Minister of the Eucharist -The distribution of communion is carried out reverently by parishioners just like you. If you are worthy to receive, you are worthy to serve! The training session lasts about 2 hours, after which you would be scheduled to serve once about every 4-6 weeks. 

Music Ministry -information to follow Music ministers lead the assembly in song encouraging full participation in the celebration. Singers and musicians are needed and welcome for all masses. There are five ways to serve in the Music Ministry: 
Adult Choir 
Folk Choir 
Youth Choir 
Family Choir 

Altar Servers -The opportunity for serving at the altar and thus be actively involved in liturgical celebrations is open to young people of the parish from grades 4 and up. This important group is always looking for new members to train for participation. 


Audio Visual - If you would like to serve in a technical manner people are needed to run the Audio Visual system during Mass

Sacristans -The work of the sacristan is to prepare the liturgical books, sacred vessels and vestments for the worship of God.
