The Very Rev. Duncan MacMaster is our parish priest in the Archdiocese of Halifax. Father Duncan was born and raised in Halifax, graduated from St. Pat’s High School and attended St. Paul’s Seminary in Ottawa. Father Duncan was ordained on May 20, 1972. Prior to joining St. Rose of Lima Parish on August 1, 2005 Father Duncan was the parish priest at: St. Pius X, Sacred Heart, St. Joseph in Shad Bay, Blessed Pope John XX111 and St. Theresa. In August 2011 Father Duncan was appointed Episcopal Vicar for the Central and North region of the Archdiocese.
